More pictures of our trip to Taiwan

Anyone hungry? While staying in Taipei we took a day trip to dan shui which is a harbor filled with many vendors and restaurants. Needless to say, most of the seafood is served fresh. You pick what you want from the buckets you see here and tell them how you want it to be cooked. We had deep fried crab, various fish dishes, oysters and clams. Nothing like good seafood!

Our driver's dashboard was kind of cute so I had to take a picture of it.

We stayed at the temple annex which is right across the street from the temple.
Jiang jin guo memorial
Scooters galore!
Here is my grandpa and my brother with his son Khaison posing in front of one of Taiwan's famous museums.
While staying at the temple annex, we realized the temple missionaries serving there were actually parents of two sisters that we knew while attending BYU. One of their daughters we know from the Asian ward (Tanya) and the other daughter was one of my student's at the MTC (Julia). Both of them served missions here in Taiwan. Brother and Sister Chan are from Washington and they have only a few more weeks left before they go home. What a cool connection half way around the world!
Just waiting for the train!
Leaving Taipei and heading to Feng Yuan which is the town that my mom and dad are from. Going back to the lao3 jia1!
On our way to my grandma's house we took and wrong turn and had to go a different way. It was a good thing because we actually ended up seeing Dori and her companion riding towards us. It was Dori's first week in feng yuan and she just happened to see us walking! What a small world! We had to to take a picture because these things don't happen everyday!
Emi just loved the water! Too bad I forgot her swimming suit and she ended up taking off her onsie and her diaper. She didn't care though!

Dan Shui/Tam Shui - we didn't get to eat fresh seafood like that when we visited!! But that district is definitely a food fest through and through. I really want to go to Taiwan again now after looking at these pictures. Hey, I just got in touch with Yuan Yuan again. Too bad they aren't in Feng Yuan anymore or else you would have seen them at church.

Hi Eve,
We enjoyed seeing your pictures of your trip. What an experience and adventure for your whole family. I too can't believe you saw Dori. What are the chances of the happening?

Keli'i, hey this is Rob.
Looks like you had fun in Taiwan. Special you. You got the walk the hallowed grounds that Me, Steve, and Abe once walked. Three of the best missionaries to ever serve in Taiwan. Ahahaha, no serious, We was da best.
My first area was right there around the temple, Chiang Kai Shek stuff, and whatevahs.
Anytime you come up with some multimillion dollar business idea, let me know, ahahaha.
